Gift Guide 2023!

Woohoo!

Halloween is over and the Holidays are officially here!

This year I thought it would be super fun to put together a little gift guide for you all with some of my favorite items to support our sports, health and self care! Feel free to send this blog post or specific links to friends and families as they are asking you for what to get you for the holidays.

P.S. None of the following are affiliate links because I honestly am not organized enough for that so they are just my honest recommendations with no strings attached! I did try to link directly to the business website to support the individual businesses but most of these are also available on Amazon.

Here are the links and a little blurb on why I included them.

Strada™ Insulated Stainless Steel Shaker Bottle by Blender Bottle: I’ve been putting a lot of emphasis on increasing my protein intake this year and I can honestly say I think it has made a huge impact on my training. I feel like my speed, power and recovery have all improved and I feel like I’m noticing more muscle definition. I love this shaker bottle because the less plastic in my house the better and it keeps things cold in the summer and warm in the winter. I plan on making some hot cocoas this winter in it and taking it with me to the mountain for uphill & cross country skiing!

OOFAS OOAHH Slide Sandal: As a PT and a runner who has been dealing with a nagging achilles problem for 3+ years having a pair of house recovery shoes to wear around the house can be a game changer. Having supportive footwear on can be crucial to your recovery process.

Hatch Restore Sunrise Alarm Clock: This is on my wishlist this year! I have not tried this but have heard great things. I feel like sleep is the area of recovery I struggle most with so it’s on my New Year’s goals to get my phone out of my bedroom and switch to an Alarm clock like this one. Let me know if you try it and what your thoughts are!

Oiselle Reflective Vigor Vest: The days are getting shorter which probably means more running in the dark. Stay safe with this reflective vest! Oiselle is a woman owned and operated company and has done a lot of great things for female athletes over the past 10+ years. They also have some other great reflective items that could be more on the order of stocking stuffer price range!

Bombas Performance Calf Sock: Socks will never not be a great holiday gift or stocking stuffer for runners. I love these calf height socks for keeping snow and mud out in the winter months and dirt out in the summer. Gently guide that relative who never knows what to get you towards Bombas’ website and you know you’ll come away with something you’ll 100% use the heck out of!

Cocokind Resurfacing Face Mask: I love this overnight mask for a little self care moment. It smells great and dries on your face in minutes so doesn’t leave and residue on your pillow.

Laird Coffee Creamer - Sweet and Creamy: I have been having a harder time with drinking black coffee lately. It makes me jittery and sweaty and makes it more difficult for me to focus. So for the most part I’ve been cutting down on it but also adding something like this that has a little coconut fat or something in it has helped with that effect. You could add collagen, protein, coconut oil or butter but this is an easy, tasty option as well and a great stocking stuffer!

Ok! That’s it for this year!

I could go on for days but this felt like a nice succinct list. Let me know your thoughts and if you try anything out!
