Breakout Session: Ancestral Echoes
Description:
A generational story exploring inheritance of guilt and shame. This narrative follows the thread between women across lineage, a grandmother, mother and daughter; asking what has been carried for survival, what has been unconsciously passed down, and what becomes possible when those patterns are consciously released. It honors ancestral resilience while inviting new forms of embodiment, choice, and relational freedom. This story follows the thread between generations, inviting reflection on what has been inherited and what is ready to be released. It honors the resilience of those who came before while asking what it means to live differently now.
We can honor our ancestors not only by remembering their sacrifices, but by choosing new ways of being where possible—through boundaries, rest, and self-recognition. The wisdom of our lineage can remain, while the burdens that were never ours to carry are set down.
This is a story about returning to what is true beneath guilt and shame, and remembering the possibility of a different path forward for those who come after us.

She speaks on whole-bodied wellness and sustainable mental health care, emphasizing the importance of understanding and unraveling both personal, professional and ancestral narratives as a core part of embodied healing in organizations and individuals.

Registered dietician, Owner Fuel to Thrive
Breakout Session: Nutrition throughout the lifespan for the active woman/recreational athlete
Description:
Women’s nutrition needs are anything but static. From adolescence and the reproductive years to pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and beyond, hormonal shifts, life demands, and training goals all influence how women should fuel their bodies. Yet many active women and recreational athletes are left navigating conflicting nutrition advice that often overlooks the unique physiological changes they experience across the lifespan.
This presentation will explore evidence-based nutrition strategies to support health, performance, and longevity during every stage of a woman’s life. Attendees will learn how energy needs, protein requirements, micronutrient priorities, and recovery strategies evolve over time, and how factors such as menstrual health, fertility, pregnancy, bone health, and menopause impact nutritional recommendations.
Special attention will be given to common challenges faced by active women, including low energy availability, gastrointestinal concerns, changing body composition, and maintaining muscle mass and metabolic health with aging. Practical guidance will be provided on how to translate the science into realistic and sustainable nutrition recommendations that support both athletic performance and overall well-being.
By the end of this session, participants will have a deeper understanding of how to tailor nutrition interventions to help active women and recreational athletes optimize their health, adapt to life-stage transitions, and continue thriving in sport and everyday life.

Owner Anam Cara Meditation Center
Keynote: How to Stay Whole in a World That Rewards Self-Sacrifice
We've been taught to be everything for everyone else. To keep going. To hold it all together. To push through.
But what if the very qualities that make us dependable are also quietly pulling us away from ourselves?
In this inspiring and interactive keynote, Hannah Talbot invites you to explore a different way of living, one rooted in nervous system wisdom, self-trust, and embodied connection. Through storytelling, practical insights, and experiential moments, you'll leave feeling more grounded, more present, and more deeply connected to your heart center.
About Hannah:
Hannah Talbot is a somatic educator, leadership coach, and founder of the award-winning Anam Cara Healing Center in downtown Spokane. After more than two decades of leading teams, building businesses, and supporting thousands of women through workshops, retreats, and transformational experiences, she has come to believe that our greatest source of wisdom isn't found by pushing harder, but by coming home to ourselves.
Blending nervous system science, mindfulness, storytelling, and embodied practices, Hannah creates experiences that help women reconnect with their inner wisdom, navigate life's transitions with greater resilience, and cultivate lives that feel nourishing, meaningful, and authentically their own.
Morning, Midday & Closing Somatic Integration
In addition to this breakout session Hannah will guide us through gentle breathwork, intention setting, and somatic check-ins at the beginning, middle, and end of the day. These intentional pauses help us anchor into our purpose for being at the retreat, integrate insights as they unfold, deepen connections with those you meet, and carry forward the wisdom you receive on this nourishing day.
Sound Bath
Following our movement classes, Hannah and Anam Cara will offer a deeply grounding Sound Bath thoughtfully designed to shift you into your parasympathetic nervous system. Rich in resonant tones and gentle frequencies, the sound bath provides a supportive container for you to integrate insights from the day, anchoring clarity, calm, and embodied wisdom.
Hannah’s sessions offer a unique blend of leadership alignment, nervous system awareness, and somatic calm, perfectly complementing the nourishing rhythm of the day.
