Physical Therapy
Pelvic floor physical therapy not only addresses the physical symptoms of things like leaking, pain, pressure or bowel concerns but the deeply emotional ones as well.
As women we hold a lot in our pelvis; our joy, our pleasure, our trauma and our shame all gets stored in this bowl that sits at the base of our spine.
Navigating and healing from dysfunction that exists here takes a holistic approach as well as time and patience.
We’re here to hold that space for you so you don’t have to do it alone.
More than just kegels.
Addressing problems related to leaking, bowel dysfunction and pelvic pain takes a whole body approach.
At Synchronized Health we assess and treat from head to toe to get you back to living a full, vibrant, active lifestyle.
Ways to work with us.

Don’t worry about getting out of your comfy clothes or packing up the baby. We’ll come to you.
Our home visits flip the script putting you in the driver’s seat. They take the intimidation of a doctors office or clinic out of the equation to maximize your comfort and safety.
We bring the table, linens and all necessary equipment. But we get to see you in your space which allows us to tailor your exercises and home program to the space and tools you have on hand.

Pelvic floor physical therapist are still hard to come by. If you don’t have one close to you or getting to them is inconvenient there is a lot we can do virtually to prepare or recover from labor, reduce symptoms of bladder and bowel dysfunction and improve pain.

That first 6 week check-in after baby can feel really far away. Early check-ins allow us to give you guidance on early post partum recovery, screen for any red flags and optimize your body mechanics for optimal outcomes.
No vaginal exam will be done until you are cleared from your doctor or midwife but there is a lot more we can do to care for you in these first precious weeks.

Having a hysterectomy, exploratory laparoscopy or other abdominal or pelvic procedure?
These can bring a long with them a lot of stress and anxiety.
Having someone on your team dedicated to optimizing your recovery and giving you ideas of what you can control can be incredibly helpful.
We can help with reducing swelling, optimizing scar healing, improving bowel function and reducing stress and strain on healing tissues all in the first 2 weeks after a surgery.
And with home visits there is no need to wait until you are off pain medications or can drive, we will come to you.
